  • Meetings - debates with personalities from the academic world or other professional circles.
  • Language courses - conversation tables in other languages
  • Philosophy circle: main currents, the great themes of philosophy, ethical questions
  • Cinema: thematic cycles by genre, director, current trends
  • Discoveries of works by major artists of music and literature
  • Library of essays and classics of literature

Christian Formation
The Christian formation offered at Bauloy gives students the opportunity to discover or deepen their religious dimension. It finds its full measure in the spirit of service and respect for others experienced on a daily basis.

Bauloy offers Christian formation activities such as: lectures on the faith, moments of prayer, spiritual guidance. A mass is usually celebrated at the residence.

These activities are entrusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church founded in 1928 by St. Josemaría, whose message is centered on the search for holiness in the work and activities of each day. It guarantees a Christian formation faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Social assistance

Throughout the year, Bauloy encourages students to visit elderly, lonely or sick people.

Depending on the year, development cooperation trips are organized during the summer vacations

Recreation and travels
Sports are an ideal and often necessary complement to work. The residence organizes various sports activities for the residents during the year.

In addition, Louvain-la-Neuve and its surroundings offer an excellent setting for jogging, cycling, etc.

The residence also organizes trips abroad (skiing, visits to European cities,...) and excursions in Belgium.
